Autumn 2018 Treatment - Part 1
It's autumn and after a bone dry summer the rains are back with a vengence. The moss you see here only took a couple of months to get this bad so it's definitely time to get out the Moss Terminator.

This time I'll be using 5 litres of the Moss Terminator: Moss & Algae Remover enough to treat the whole property, front and back. For application there are a number of options, you can try one of our many shoulder or knapsack sprayers, or even a simple garden watering can. Simply mix the formula at a rate of 1:4 with cold water and get spraying!
First thing I did was check the weather. We'd had some heavy rainfall over night but it had mostly dried out throughout the morning. The forecast predicted no rain until 12am tonight, giving me 10 hours of clear skies; more than enough time for the moss terminator to do it's work!
For speed, I ran my Moss Terminator through a Karcher K4 pressure washer set to "mix". This isn't ideal because I can't control the exact dilution rate, but I felt it was worth the experiment for the time it would save me if it worked. It certainly did save a great deal of time. I managed to treat the whole property in around 30 minutes using 3/4 of the 5 litre bottle of Moss Terminator.
If anything I think the solution I used may have come out a little too strong. Using a knapsack I'd have kept it down to a strict 1:4 dilution rate and the bottle would have gone a lot further. We'll see how it goes though. Here's another photo to show the extent of the infestation.
