Removing Moss from Decking
Moss can be a major problem for those of us with decking in our garden. Aside from being unsightly, the damp, slippery moss can pose a serious risk. Even when removed through conventional means moss can leave unpleasant and difficult to remove stains on wooden decking. For medium to thick moss dilute with cold water at a rate of 1:4 (MB:Water). Apply to surface at a rate of 3.5m2 per litre of solution. Wait 48 hours for moss to die and brown and remove with a stiff brush
Do not apply moss terminator if you are expecting rain within the next 24 hours. Do not apply in temperatures below freezing. Do not apply to grass, this is a hard surface moss treatment unsuitable to lawns. take care when using products near ornamental flowers or otherwise wanted plant life. whilst safe for most animals moss terminator is hostile to fish and should be used with care around ponds containing aquatic animals
